You just work hard, just like any job.”
     – Auto Technician

“Nobody needs to pick up something that's too heavy for them to pick up because we do have assisted lifting things like engine cranes. So it's more important to be smart than it is to be strong.”
     – Technical Training Supervisor

Work really hard because you're going to have to prove yourself in this field so you're going to have to work a little bit harder than everybody else, but it's really worth it in the long run.”
     – Auto Technician

“You’re going to sweat. You’re going to be tired. But I think it’s worth it.”
     – Auto Technician

“When you do your job over and over and over again, you actually build up the muscle because you find different ways to do it, so it's not so boring when you repeat yourself over and over all day long. You find different ways to build your muscles that way.”
     – Auto Technician

“With my other jobs, I wasn't really happy going to work or whatever, but this is, I like going to work. I like working with my hands. I like to be able to fix things. I like how it feels when something works again.”
     – Auto Technician

“I try to be a team player, you know, I don’t throw my authority around. I make the guys feel like I’m just one of the guys.”
     – Used-Car Manager

“I don't think I could have done what I'm doing now if I had not had the background experience of working with tools. Right now, I walk into a shop to sell tools. I know what they're talking about; they know what I'm talking about.”
     - Owner, Tool-Supply Franchise

“Sometimes I see salespeople that don't do anything, don’t join anything, and that's really a bad mistake because then you have to work twice as hard. You're waiting for the person to come into the door, and I don't like to do that. I like to get out among the people because that's how your name gets out and you're making a reputation for yourself and eventually people whenever they think about a vehicle, your name pops up.”
     – Vehicle Leasing Manager
